Killed Swordsmith in Rattay, is he dead forever?

So, does someone come to replace his dead ass, or does the shop just stay closed forever?

I think once killed, a person will be dead forever
this is supposed to be realistic right?

I would assume there aren’t many wealthy businessmen/Artisans in a close proximity to give service to the lordship of rattay.

Well, if he comes back in three days, I’d suggest prayer.

I get that, but i dont think its very realistic to just close shop forever because the owner died, maybe a family member takes it over, or it turns into something else so i can murder that shopkeep too.

Maybe we will get a zombie shopkeep.

A consequence for your actions. Who would of thought?

Why in God’s name would you kill the shopkeeper and then be upset that he is dead? Maybe don’t kill him

Mine now carries upwards of 8,000 groschen for me to sell to, along with several of the other vendors. I’d never kill them even if I was playing a sociopath.

No I don’t believe he is dead forever. Margaret in Talmberg keeps falling from the sky and dying in my game and every time i go back she is alive. I also for fun killed everyone in Talmberg and Rattay and after a 10 day jail sentence it was business as usual.

Thanks Moopy!

That specific npc dies forever (I believe) but a new owner with the same profession takes over his shop. I tested this out and I killed a trader with 560 Groschen, and the new trader came with 1.2k groschen, so I think it’s just a different npc in the same occupation.

someone else should take over the shop,in skyrim if you kill a shop owner someone else is coded to be the next owner. they should add something like that
