Do you think you should be able to decapitate body parts E.G. heads and arms? I know it’s gory but isn’t this realistic in these time periods.
I was surely hoping for decapications. Just like Henry’s pa mentioned its best to keep your head on your shoulders
zeltchoron I really do hope they bring this into the game in the future. It would make the whole experience alot more fun/realistic. Surely they could do some kind of add on? Not sure a patch could do it or I could be wrong.

It depends if they are wearing armor of any type. Even padded armor is incredibly difficult to cut through, especially with a sword. For unarmored people, yes it should be possible for a number of weapons, but dismemberment would be incredibly difficult to implement with this game engine. In an engine like the one the Fallout games use, the head, arms, and legs exist as separate meshes which are scripted to detach or explode if an attack with enough damage hits them. That means more demand on the system and more headaches from bugs.
No, it’s not realistic. Decapitations are impossible during combat.

But I’d like to decapicate somebody after combat and bring their head as a trophy!

Also I’m sure you decapicate a peasant while riding a warhorse full speed and swinging a halberd. Seems like enough force

Yes I completely understand regarding the person wearing armour which would make it difficult or impossible to decapitate body parts. But when a bandit yields and they have no armour to protect there necks or arms surely you should be able to decapitate a body part. Like a cinematic move/ just a button pops up on the screen to press and does it for you.
I totally agree with that and I would love to see some more finishing moves and mercy kills.

Yes very much so, another version of mercy kill if they are unconscious or asleep, surely you could?

Hopefully they could implement this into the game sooner than later. I think it be pretty cool! But im not
sure how long it would take 
They have lots of issues and bugs and support tickets to deal with first. Cant see much being added for quite some time. Only alterations.

Yes I agree… only one can wish. But I hope they do, it would make the experience just that bit better in my opinion.
