Under 18 = No credit card = no purchase. Digital = under 18 = no purchase. Unless of course you obtain without permission from parents or are a liar and give wrong info.

Well when i was 15 i went to bank with my dad and asked a banker to create account and a card. I needed it because i was about to go on school 200km away and needed something where i can store money so they are accessible and preferably not in physical form. When i started doing one time jobs during studies, it was very handy.
Point is, not all kids around 15 are not selfsustainable, they can take care of themselves and dont need mum to buy them what they want. Then they can check whatever checkbox they want on internet to just get what they want.
And if they are that grown up to do this, they are in 9 cases out of 10 grown enough to play “game for adults”.
Steam has achievements which can be sold and so you use steam money, no need of card, but those achievements are not worth much. You can also buy steam coupon to top up your account and also receive game as gift. So?
you can get bank card at 14+ and you need to enable electronic banking feature lol thats all
I will guess you mean cards since achievements are worth nothing. Still falls into the liar category, You can get a coupon for a discount but that’s it. If you mean steam cards/funds sure you can from parent/gift card or selling stuff it is still lying. I can also steal your credit card numbers and buy it too, so is that is ok too?
Any way if your account is marked on steam under 18 you can’t buy it. That is the gist of it. Didn’t say it was hard just that they should play games meant for their age. Also they should get a free porno to watch with there game.
Of cousre I was renting porn at 16 so what would I know.

Well the rating system has been flawed for years. It should be used so that people under age cant purchase a particulair game.
As mentioned above, there are a lot of work around and nobody cares about what age it says on the box.
This rating is only helpfull when you don’t know a game and you then can see what sort of content it contains.
That said, in a age where everyone is constantly online, people can find out what a game is about quick enough before they buy it.
I don’t thik Kingdom Come will have more adult content than other games because they can’t afford AO ESRB Rating.
And ESRB rating is totally retarded.

It is actually amazing news for the sake of story! I bought the first Witcher game when I was 16 in local game store ten years ago and nobody said anything. I quess it is highly individual on the store and on the family. My sister in law is constantly buying games with higher PG ratings for her kids because she has no idea something like that exists.
