I was able to get a refund on this game - ps4 pro user. Told the rep that it is one of the buggiest games I have ever played (not really played - it was more like “how can I work around the bugs and glitches”). He understood, said there have been many, many calls for a refund. I got the refund right away.
The folks at Sony are aware of the issues surrounding this game and are giving refunds.

we live in age where you can get a refund when a game is buggy
but not when a game is shitty or 3 hour long (sonic forces for example)
whatever was your reasoning for refunding, you’re likely to buy it again at a later date.
I understand the dissatisfaction esp in regards to main quest bugs and pop in/texture rendering, but I don’t understand the need for now or never. Put off by the current state? Put it down and come back in 2 months. Sweatin’ the money? Shouldn’t have bought in first place.
Pleas stop bulling people for refunds, if someone get refund some game once per year is ok, if developers would fix errors more quickly he will probably not refund it at all…
If you will not bully them, they still could buy game again, in some sale, if bug would be fixed… There are lots of stories with bugged released, lots of developers never fixed game… look at No man sky…

Be a responsible consumer and do your research. Everything I found out about this game was found out on Youtube. I didn’t buy it on Launch day (I never do because I wanna see others and they crap they’ve had to deal with).
All in all, I have just over 100 hours in this game (on PC) and have loved every moment of it. I have 2 quests bugged right now, but guess what? I don’t have to turn them in! I can go do something else.
Again, do some research, don’t get bitten by the hype bug. I love this game and I hope a lot of new “types” of games come out that match the storylines and mechanics this one has to offer.
No mans sky has had some updates but I say who cares. Lots of other games and things to occupy my time. Dont have time to deal with liars and cheats.
