Got the patch on 16th waited to play till today and still have problem with save. unable to auto save anymore (sleeping and during missions when it auto saves) also after 5 manual saves game tells me to overwright my saves. Lockpicking still worst ever unable to pick, go slow and steady BREAK, go fast as lightning BREAK. since game was basicaly still broke, didnt play any farther. wait for next patch see if that fixes anything. way game is now wont be getting dlc if and when they are relased. one of the worst launches ive been in. very poor start. maker and publisher realy need to make a playable game not a money grab…

The save and exit feature didnt work for me. Some of my missions seem to be bugged. Like the one where u talk to the skalitz priest to get skalitz up and running again i guess. I had no option to talk to him. So i just killed him to get rid of the mission. But nothing seemed to do anything the mission carried on as if he was still alive which he was not. Aside from this havent had many issues
There have been many many worse launches than this one. Almost all the assassin’s creed games, most Bethesda ones, even the Witcher 3 didn’t have a brilliant launch. This one just stands out because it’s new, you have to keep in mind that war horse are an indie Dev team, not some mega bucks AAA company and they’re working as fast as they can to get patches out asap.
I’ve been playing 40hrs so far and haven’t come across any game breaking bugs at all, just a few glitches here and there.
Saving is great and a great system to stop making the game too easy and lockpicking is supposed to be hard otherwise what’s the point in having them.
As for overwriting manual save’s, that’s totally normal and not a bug. Once you reach a certain limit of saves you have to start overwriting them so you don’t have hundreds of save files.
It seems most people thing the save system is broken and not actually designed to be like this, once you get used to it, it’s a great system and I hope other games adopt something similar.
Where is that mission start?
A peasant guy gives the mission to u. Something about getting people to come back or something. U need to find a priest.
