well, It still says that I donât have enough space in my drive, I changed the path to my other drive and it stills says the same thing.
The thing is that the temp folder is still in my C drive, altough I changed it to the D drive
How do I fix this?
Did you log out of your windows account?
For simplicity, you can also just restart your computer.
This is how you can check if it worked:

the fucking launcher is bugged, It didnât even take up space from my instalation process on my hard drive. Fucking Hell
I paid some money on this game. PLEASE FIX THIS FUCKING LAUNCHER BUG ASAP, donât want to lose my trust from day one in you guysâŠ
Maybe there is something else wrong for you⊠the installer did definitely take up space while it was downloading the game during the installation process into the TEMP folder.
But consider, this is still only the BETA, not the finished product yetâŠ
beta, alpha, version 0.001, doesnât matter. I should still be able to install the game, shouldnât I?
Can you check which drive is full if you get the message? Just donât close the error message and check out in the windows explorer which drive is full
Hello again, I just tried to switch my TMP folder as described. The change itself does work, which I can confirm by checking if there is data put inside the folder itself. (and by typing %temp% in explorer, of course).
Sadly the installation still tells me that there isnât enough free space on my disk. I guess I still have to wait for WH to come up with a simple solution for this (and it should be a simple one, am i right?).

@Laubblaeser, thanks for checking. I assume it did work for me because I do have enough space on C:, but got the same error message because my TEMP folder was on the RAM disk (B:) with only 2GB. So for me it worked because it did not try to write the data to B:.after I adjusted the path.
Strangely though, before I reset my TEMP path to C:, it only copied stuff to B:, not to C:
Well, I do like me some debugging and always try to solve occuring problems for myself first, but for now Iâll just leave that to the professionals (WH that is) and just go back to PoE:Ascendancy for now. (Maybe I should write my term paper⊠nah, nevermind.)
yeah it seems no matter what it will go on the C drive i have a small ssd but got it on there just getting rid of heaps of stuff got it working and all now WH did PM me on facebook and are working to fix it i know it sucks guys but just hang in there thanks for the help guys
Yeah, still doesnât fix it for me. I think it might have something to do with there still being some leftover downloaded data from the previous tries before changing the Temp-folder. It clearly does start to download in the new location, but the fact that it continues for me from half way up according to the progress bar suggests that it uses something that it has downloaded before.
Canât find a way to fix this however. Tried cleaning up the temp-files etc. but there must be still some files Iâm missing.
I myself am highly impressed that WH has already recognized the problem and is working to fix it. Problems like these are very common and should be expected in Betas (not to mention alphas). Beta is not a finished product and the main reason it is released is to find problems like these So please try to bear with it @furyzen1. We might be able to find a solution together and if not, we can trust the devs.
Sorry for my over reaction yesterday, but I was really pissed that in day 1 after I buy the game I canât play it. I understand that this is a beta, but stillâŠ
