Leg plate and boots at the same time?

Hey all,

My question is fairly simple.
Is it somehow possible to wear boots and leg plate at the same time? As it seems that whichever leg plate i try, it always takes up both the leg plate and the boots slot.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Mara

No. Full plate legs come with attached feet. You can get leg armor that allows for shoes, but not plate…at least not all plate.

Thanks! Any advice for me then which combo i should wear that has at least 20+ defence combined?

find hose, chain chausse(chain leggings) and probably (dont remember what theyre actually called) but the splint armor leggings, there are matching arms too but not as good as plate arms over chain. Honestly though, if you do some training in combat, you’re armor type isnt going to matter much as long as you’re wearing something. You get really OP pretty fast, you’ll be 1 hitting bandits in no time. Just practice fighting weak people or practice with Cpt Bernard outside the north gate of Rattay(so long as you are not out on a quest with him). Spend like an hour or two real time learing everything you can from him and then practicing with wooden weapons. Take your armor off first so it doesnt get beat up and just fight him. Its free and its limitless. Just dont do it too much or you’ll be 1 hitting opponents way early lol

Thanks!

Im already quite OP i think. I quit doing the mainquest after i did the “preach” quest, and started doing side quests while tyring to look for the best gear that i could find.

And now i tried almost every shop to find better gear while also trying to look for better gear when i kill a bandit or other mobs, however, as my current build stands, im not able to find better gear so far.

Maybe i come to some treasure chest or something that has better gear tho, im not sure
Anyways, yesterday i was fast traveling from around skalitz to sasau, when i was done exploring the forest east of skalitz, and near the south of skalitz, i ran into some bandits.

At first i thought there were just 3-4 of them, and they were quite nicely geared too. But in the end there were around 10… And still i managed without too much injury…

My tactic, first use the bow untill 3-4 are standing, and then use the sword, this way you level up both quite nicely, and with awesome gear, no one stand a chance against you.

Anyway, like i said, thanks for your extensive reply
