Let me explain to people (Rant post)

Where do I even began

I want the cry babies to understand something, KCD is what I would call a " medievil RPG simulator" without the simulator feeling, I’ll elaborate on what mean by that.

I hate to compare KCD to Skyrim because they are so damn different but KCD is not Skyrim, you can not expect to come into KCD and tap a button and kill someone, you can’t expect to fight 3 armed gaurds and win without actually having decent armor and actually be very good at fighting, like you can do in Skyrim.

Why you may ask? Will because you actually have to practice and learn how to play. This game is not for anyone who doesn’t want to take the time/patience and actually learn how to fight, this game will not spoon feed you. You have to strive to get to where you want too be. Honestly that goes for more then fighting.

SECOND

PLEASE understand that warhorse studios is not EA, Ubisoft etc etc. They are a much smaller group of people and are limited on how fast they can release patches, so yes it’s gonna take some time and the patches are going to be way bigger then the big time company’s.

I will never understand why people expect games to come out bugless, especially a game like KCD, where of course it’s gonna be tons of bugs. So stop saying stupid shit like “warhorse studios dropped the ball “, " damn this game was a waste of money”, " The fighting is to hard and ruined the game”.

The jest is that we NEED gaming company’s like Warhorse, because they delivered such a masterpiece. Not scare them away because some lazy fuck faces can’t win a fight or be patient so Warhorse can patch the game.

SHEESH PEOPLE!

P.S THANKS WARHORSE YOU DELIVERED A AMAZING GAME PLEASE KEEP GOING DESPITE WHAT THE HATERS SAY!

Way more I wanted to add on this (lock picking, saving etc etc) but rather keep it kinda short.

I have to say, I LOVE this game. It’s taken gaming to another level for me. I actually have to train to get better. I have to learn to master the sword so I can defeat bandits. I have to practice, get hurt, spend time and money, and I have to do things over and over again so I can get better at it.
It’s like nothing I’ve ever played before. And I love it.

One thing though. I play on PS4 and lockpicking is friggin hard. It’s damn near impossible. 1 outta 10 successes. Thankfully they are gonna do something about it.

Best game I’ve ever played… easily

Although currently on Xbox one(after no-lifing since it’s release) I’m unable to start a new game or load my saved games…

Other than not being able to actually play it… it’s amazing

Oh and it crashes every 2 hours… that as well

Not sarcastic… just frustrated I haven’t been able to play for the last 4 hours… ahh

i thought I would add to your post by saying that they are a small studio who worked hard with limited resources and without the funding of a major publisher.

Not saying i didn’t expect and can tolerate bugs, but when there is a game-breaking bug that means that i can’t even progress through the story line… then i think i have the right to complain.

I agree.
But then again, I’ve experienced alot more bugs in games from BigGaming than a smaller company than Warhorse. Also game-breaking bugs. Don’t get me started on AC3…

It’s Releaseday +3. I expected bugs, both minor and game-breaking. And thankfully they’ve got a more or less open channel of information via their BigBoss Vavra.

Yeah the bugs in this massive game i can handle and dont mind, more established companies have done far worse with much larger budgets. Keep the game original aside from bugs please

Yeah bugs aren’t an issue… not being able to play is my only complaint…

Other than that the game has fully met my expectations and I hope Warhorse will be developing further into KCD or similar games.

I hope they expand with new regions and cultures, spartans, vikinings, scotts, and so on maybe even a western. So many options from here.

I absolutely love the game as it is and i really hope they dont make a bunch of changes to it just to pacify a bunch of people who would rather not try. At least on PC. I’ve seen most of the complaints regarding the lockpicking being related to console users so maybe it is an actual problem there but on pc its a bit easy really once you learn exactly what your supposed to do. As for the bugs they are a minor issue for me, only two that have given any real problems so far and i’m sure they will be patched up as soon as the devs can. So many people though complaining about the game have really ridiculous expectations and demands. this is their game made the way they wanted it. if you can’t enjoy that then go somewhere else. Warhorse did an excellent job and i’m very excited to see what the future holds from them

To everyone who replied, glad we are all on the same page. There are some bugs that definitely need to get fixed ASAP, no doubt about that, Warhorse of course is going to get to them hopefully soon.

Just baffles me to read people fourms saying the game sucks and this that and the third without knowing how hard this company worked.

I feel like that delivered what they promised, lol yeah it definitely need polishing for damn sure but I can take that rather then it not being the way they said it was going to be, like every other gaming company.

Yup, loving the game big time. Very interesting theme, and without the dragons, trolls, nekkers, ect. Straight up middle ages RPG, based on real world history, locations and characters. Just fantastic…and to think I just happened upon this title last Friday when I seen it in a news site here in the D.

One thing I love about the implementation of this RPG, is just play it as if you are there. If you just jump into a fight without proper equipment and training, you’re doomed. You got to live and breath the character to make the game work.

Anyhow, the thing I’d like to see implemented is freelook, with Track IR support. Just way more natural feel and far more efficient for scoping the scene.

Good day!

I’m playing on Xbox X and haven’t had that problem, hopefully they fix it soon so you can get back playing

Exactly what I’m saying, I have a hard time lock picking to lol

That would be amazing. So many different dlcs can happen for this game

I can agree to disagree. Being such a small studio there’s only so much they can catch on realease. So I have no problem with forum’s stating a bug and how they encountered the buh of course.

My issue is when people down Warhorse and literally ask for their money back as if the game has been out for a decade and Warhorse just didn’t do anything about it. Patching for them will take a bit more time, being a smaller studio.

Exactly, meant to put that. Thanks
