Okay so I snuck into the monastery and started talking to this guy about how to be given access to it without having a trespassing penalty he said I had to be literate, which I am, and have a letter of approval from the abbott. So do I need to progress farther into the game or am I missing something because i have no idea where the abbott is or how to receive a letter from him.
