I’ve done 3 arena combats with the shield, yet i’ve got exactly 0XP in the shield skill in all of those combats. And im using the shield combos, so what am i doing wrong?
I’ve just gotten 1xp, i just had to save and load the save. Wierd bug.
never mind. Did two more arena fights using lots of shield techniques. No more xp other then that 1 i got earlier. Is it really supposeed to be this difficult to get shield xp? like what?
EDIT: I have seen to find the problem. Only Very Advanced opponents give me any shield skill in the arena. Is that supposed to be like that?
It may be based on the amount of damage blocked, try fighting a real opponent rather than an arena one, see if that gives more xp.
Pure speculation, though.
A lot of the skills level up very slowly. The defensive ones especially seem to take a long time. They may well tweak it for release. I think the early skills should be fairly easy to level up, and then the higher the skill goes, the more XP it should take to keep gaining levels. We will have to wait and see what they do for final release.
