I sure hope that they will save it on youtube to others watch too.

Why is it so often that Germans can’t view certain videos?

Well, the presentation is over. It looked truly amazing! I can’t believe this is only Alpha work!
Here are some notes I took during the show for those who missed a part :

Noticed
-Holy crap, that’s beautiful !
-No clipping with clothes
-No scabbard for swords
-realistic town
-Map looks old, medieval-ish
-Shop similar to Oblivion’s
-Layer systems looks awesome!
-The blacksmith is dumb as hell
-2 lil’ glitches :stuck_out_tongue:
-Riding looks like in Skyrim
-Combat requires good reflexes
-I think he’s in God mod :stuck_out_tongue:
-Too much people talking to answer any question
-The water looks amazing!

Informations
-6 month old build
-older version of Cryengine -> New features not working
-Animation to be improved (Motion capture)
-3D skinning of the head
-Quest for publisher that includes the core mechanics
-body consciousness
-Multi choice dialogue (branching dialogues) with point of no returns
-hometown burnt by invading army
-Dubbing will be improved
-Experimenting with accent -> trying with Shakespearian English. Should be more current in the final version
-Quest info -> Bandits attacked Henry and stole a sword made by his dad for his lord. Now, he has to recover it.
-Character’s face is temporary.
-Buildings accurately accurate
-Preview of the items on the character whil scrolling the inventory
-4 layers on body, same on legs, 3 on head + necklace
-layers technology will be shared with Star Citizen
-No loading (Holy crap !!!)
-The city shown should be as big as the biggest in Skyrim (Solitude, I think)
-You can talk yourself out of troubles
-Threatening looks helps to intimidate people
-Minigame for crafting->If done right, sword gets better, if done wrong, it gets worse
-Minig fishing, cooking (Like cooking mama ^^) … Lots of side activites
-Alchemy - real one, no magic
-Countryside large
-9 km² close to the size of Cyrodill (Oblivion)
-Density of events similar to RDR
-Interesting stuff concentrated around hubs (such as cities)
-Next time they will show a new build with Ai and other cool stuff
-Played with an xbox controller attached to a PC.
-Game optimized to both controller and mouse/keyboard
-Works on PC as well as on consoles
-Combat shown older than in the combat video
-Combat based on stamina
-You need to lower the enemy’s stamina
-Doesn’t show the difficulty (not optimized)
-Whistle for a horse to come
-Day/night cycle
-Archery looks similar to Skyrim’s
-No stealth mode -> depends on the armour (Shiny, noisy …)
-Crouching won’t make you invinsible
-Stealth depends on skill, noise and visibility
-If you work long enough, you can be everything you wanna be (yes, everything)
-For now -> Swords only
-Now investigating pole weapons (Not sure to have them for Act I)
-Flail won’t be in act I (too unpredicatable)
-NO multiplayer
-MMO out of the question (You don’t say? ^^)
-coop would cause issues with the story (like if you are in prison (Prison ?! :D) )
-May add a multiplayer combat arena sometimes in the future (NO PROMISES)
-Not dumbing down of the PC for the consoles (Woohoo)
-Game optimized for each hardware
-They will launch their stores after the Kickstarter campaign
-They may sell swords later but with no inscripitions

Alpha :

-Last 20 minutes : What we’ll get in the Alpha
-Alpha in 6 month
-core mechanics (picking, walking, simple quest, fencing, riding …)
-People’s AI makes them do something
