I don’t know why, but the game fails to load the save (I’ve tried restarting the game and I’ve tried multiple saves).
Just 10 hours ago it worked fine.
EDIT: Still not working, tried restarting PC, looked for updates (for GPU and windows), but everything seems to be fine. So it’s definitely a problem with the game.
EDIT 2: Re-installed the game, still not working. So something must’ve corrupted every previous save somehow.
Probably a corrupt save. That is definitely a bug going around. Are you using the save mod?
Nope, I don’t have any mods, and like I said, all older saves don’t work either while they were perfectly fine earlier that same day.
Definitely use the save mod… That is weird that none of your saves are working. You might have to start over but the save mod will get rid of the issue.
Same problem here. The game doesn’t load any save file. 35 hours wasted.

Yes, any save file, I tried 10 or so of them. There’s a loadingscreen for 2 minutes and then it says “Game load failed” (or something like that).
Tried verifying game cache on steam?
How do I do that?
On your steam library find the game on the list, right click on it, click on properties, local files, verify integrity of game files. Do not do this if you’ve modified your game files or added any mods.

I’m not sure if I’ve tried a save before that quest, I’ll let you know if it works.
Apparently it corrupts the save files of some people. Didn’t have an issue with it personally.
“Thank you a million times, sir knight! You helped us very much.”
(That means it works, I’ll just have to do a bunch of repeating quests, but better than starting over.)
Maybe you know the proper way to deal with the Robber Baron quest so that it doesn’t corrupt saves?
