I know a lot of you think its impossible and or unnecessarily hard, but i encourage you to give it a shot. Once its nerfed, which could be any day, you’ll NEVER be able to test yourself again. And 100 years from now, when you’re old and on your space ship cruise, you’ll wonder, "could i have done it? "

true its so easy after you get how its work i was starting a new game and was level 4 lockpiking ahd was open hard locks first try the 4 lockpicks from fritz opend all chest and doors in skalitz

Well you are much better than me sir
It was never hard to begin with, especially on the console version of the game. Hell I was able to get the hang of it while still in Skallitz.

It took me longer, but it didn’t bother me. I also got my ace kicked a lot. You cant let messing up or failures bother you. You just keep chugging on

I’m gutted if they now change this and there’s no option to leave it as it is. I’ve enjoyed figuring it out and levelling up.

They aren’t all one button heroes. I got frustrated a couple times, but its a sandbox so people don’t have to master every little thing to progress the game. Thats really the beauty of the game. After i broke my first pick i had to stay away from lock picking for awhile because i was low on money and had other things o saw as more important.
I then began to realize that the only investment one can make in this game is in your skills and gear. No business or such things, so i looked at each skill as a business. I was repairing swords to increase maintenance, which increases value of the swords and decrease cost of armor repairs.
So lockpicking became another skill/business for me
