"Long Unsuccessful Reign"

(Not sure what topic to choose because technically its not a bug.)

Anyone else noticed that the narrator says unsuccessful instead of successful? I haven’t gone digging far into the bugs list, and haven’t found anything about it. Am I the only one who noticed???

is he nothing saying “had a long, and successful reign”? :S i dont know

he definitely says unsuccessful

Long and successful, it seems to me that he in fact says “Long n’successful”

Look up misheard song lyrics. Then realize how amusing your “definitely” is. I’m sure you’re convinced that’s what he’s saying, but that isn’t the same as what is actually being said.

Well the way he says it is long PAUSE (un or 'n) successful reign

Usually 'n connects two words together without a pause, or at least in the US anyway.
I am very very very sorry for using definitely wrong.

Maybe he said long and successful reign but it comes out sounding like “Long an successful” or “Long n successful”

After playing the game over and over, going on Press Tours and the like, he indeed says successful. I can see why you’d think he said otherwise though. Kind of what RailBalco said.

Tip: try “prosperous”; “Charles IV … had a long, prosperous reign…”

Btw.: I saw the intro video. I would say that one of Vaclav’s vices is presented in an unnecessary vulgar way.

Care to elaborate?

I’d ass-ume it was the naked buttocks in the opening sequence.

Or maybe that she giggles. Not supposed to enjoy it.

Unprosperous. Same problem. Your tip solves nothing. Why would you even bump this?

I liked the gauntlet on the butt. It made me laugh.

You can’t please all of the perpetually offended all of the time, or any of the time really.

“Unprosperous. Same problem.”

The idea is that he wasn’t the director of a successful company. To my ears, “prosperous” simply sounds better. (Btw.: there’s no “and” in the written sentence and “unprosperous” is not widely used.)
