Ok I’m level 11 pleased with my progression, finished off Runt and finished numerous side quests then I get error message on my screen followed by corrupted file save. I had plenty of manual saves and auto saves but it took me back all the way to the opening scene and I have to start from the very beginning, the rage that is burning in the depths of my stomach is unqenshible. This game is broke and never should have been released, at least not on PS4. There is nothing you can say to make it better I’m 45 and in all my years of gaming that has never happened to me, so thanks warhorse Studios for destroying 5 days of gameplay at over 12hrs a day. It’s gone ! All gone, I’d like to type what is truly on my mind about the game but fear of a lifetime ban prevents me.
I had the same exact thing happen last night and I completely agree with everything you’re saying, 40+ hours in, better armor than any of the merchants sold, best sword in the game, over 12k silver, went to save my game last night and get offline and as I saved I got an application error and upon loading the game back up get a prompt telling me my save file is corrupt, I too have never had anything like this happen to me on my PS4 at least and I’ve had it for almost four years, it’s absolutly ridiculous.
happened to me as well it sucks lost about 20h but I made a new game and I constantly back up my save file am also on PS4.
WH has already fixed this and once the new patch is out this problem is fixed
This problem is only on PS4 it sucks this should have not sliped out of the beta tester this is a big mistake am fine with other bugs but this is too much.
although I know this will not make you feel better but I really countered this problem by backing up my save file but I was lucky it happened to me early in the game so i didn’t lose much.
