I don’t know how long I hadn’t saved, but I come across a bunch of bandits and cumans fighting. I was fully armed and armored so I say what the hell I’m going to do this. I park my horse at a safe distance and start shooting arrows at the bastards. A few of them come my way the rest keeps on fighting and ends up pursuing each other in the woods. I kill the ones that come after me. I start looting them, and get hit by multiple arrows. I check and sure enough there are three cumans shooting at me from afar, hadn’t noticed them. So I deal with them. I drink some Marigold soda to be sure, because I got hit by a bunch of arrows and one of the earlier cumans had really hit me hard. Suddenly a Cuman Captain comes out of the woods and starts to whack at me. I fight him off but I’m seeing red. One of the others that I thought dead in the meantime gets up (headcracker feat is a fickle mistress) and deals a few blows. I’m still walking but hey everyone els is gone right? Two more Cumans show up out of the woods, I stomach two hits and I’m dead. Hubris Henry did it again.

Take it easy, it could be worse. You have lost several hours of gameplay, but Henry lost his life.
