Lost items after prologue

I spent a lot of time playing in prologue, discovering every nook and cranny. gathered a lot of loot, and money

After digging grave for Henry parents, and ending prologue. I go to chest and gather all items and to my suprise a lot of that loot is missing.

Reloaded saves couple of times and every time diffirent items are gone.
I am using more weight mod and wealthy merchants mod. Disabling and enabling mods does not matter, same results.

Possibly a item number limit or weight limit? It’s one of the potential issues of using mods early on in a games release. There may be scripted things that may impact how the game mechanics work like this.

On PC I have played it twice and did not have any issue but did not have loads of items in inventory.

Before finishing the Prologue try storing some items in the chests at your house, where you bury your parents.

I did test this and the items were there after both leaving Skalitz and returning from Talmberg; and also after the Prologue and items were still there.

so you hide them in a chest in skalitz, end the prologue and then retrieve them when you sneak out and return to Skalitz? This, I’m assuming, cannot be done with Sir Radzigs sword right? But anything accumulated during prologue can be stashed away?

Getting ready to restart probably in a day or so, want to have some fun this time around and not worry so much about story or quest timelines and do more of whatever I want
