Love love love the game,I’d probably go as far to say that after decades of gaming this is quickly becoming my all time favourite…
that being said,I’m hopping they might remove the need to buy saviour schnapps or mark the price down to zero untill they fix the number of crashes they have on the ps4 version. Can anyone tell me if the pc version is more stable? Or should I hold off a bit longer before getting it?..Well,I’m off to replay 20 minutes worth again cheers
I play PC and so far I’ve had 0 crashes. Nor have I ran into any serious bugs.
Bugs are a lot worse on consoles. I’ve already had a few major crashes, loading screen problems, and other general problems. Mainly on the standard Xbox One, which seems to have the most problems from the game.
I play on the X1X and have had no crashes so far. Only one bug thus far when fast travelling from within Rattay to Ledetchko.
Thanks for the replies. I’m playing on the ps4 pro at the moment, and asside from enough crashes to make having to buy saves a little expensive,it’s otherwise behaved quite well.I would have bought the pc version instead, but I’d hurt my leg so playing on a comfy couch was better. I’ll get the PC version this week. I’m actually looking foward to having at least a second game on the go,with a different character build.
My biggest criticism of this aside from the bad acting, is it’s less of a game, but more of a movie. So far, I’ve run around fetching stuff at the start, had a fist fight in that. Ran to another town, leant against a wall half the night, and so far I have done nothing that I would call gameplay. I feel more like a spectator rather than the main character of the story. Then there’s the horrible acting.
Also read most problems with vanilla Xbox and the PS4 family (and ofcourse PC due to hardware varieties) but I’m playin in Xbox one X since 20-30hrs and not one crash. Just the permanent surrender bug but I’m getting used with it. Starting to learn the thieve & murderer skills… Just noticed that I’m still having the saviorschnapps from the prologue. Just used 2.
So, savesystem: Check (Save & Exit would be nice, nevertheless)
lockpicking: Check.
Combat & Archery: Check
Quests & story: double check
World & exploration: woohoooooo
Hope the next patches will bugfix all the nasty little glitches a bit more.
They are quite easy to make i’d suggest learning to read first as it makes it even easier. If you want the exact recipe i can give you it by PM.
the worst bugs are the ones where you’re locked in a room, or you can’t climb a ladder, because it doesn’t register you’re pressing or holding E on the pc. This is game is nowhere near ready for release, at best it’s in beta
That’s the prelog of the game. It’s more of a torterial. It’s to introduce you to many of the game mechanics. It starts to pick up in speed and actual gameplay after that.
The only bug Ive really experience is the one going through and unlocked door turning around and its lock so i jump to my death or have to reload and “Satan” Or han as other people know him he walks Soulessly across the entire map hunting me down ruining my Waiting or any conversations he cannot be stop not even the churches can save me
First open world RPG?
