Main Mission Bug - Hans Capon archery challenge
Bug where when loading into take on Hans Capon in an archery challenge, Hans walks away leaving Henry standing in archery range unable to move or proceed.
Unable to wait or fast travel either.
Removed and reinstalled game with no luck.
Any one else had the same issue or any advice?
This! Bernard also just leaves after awhile. It’s really frustrating. I’ve been trying to load older saves, but to no relief whatsoever. Sometimes I don’t even get to shoot them arrows, since the game gets stuck to a loading screen…
I understand you have many things to fix, but I mean I might need to go for the refund since the best case scenario is probably starting the whole damn thing over?
Btw playing on xbox.
Xbox also but i got around it!!! Complete the sword tutorial and once done instead of going straight to archery head to bed and sleep. I went to archery challenge after sleeping and it worked… got pass bug
Really? Where did you sleep? Because I tried that, but it didn’t work.
Rattay Mill. Dont sleep in the bed you own… use the bed on the left hand side of the room as you walk in. That way the game wont autosave
I had to go way back in my saves, complete a bunch of sidequests again, but the bug was resolved.

Same problem here and I got a ps4.
I solved the first problem during loading sleeping before start archery; the point is that when you have to play with hans nothing happens. you are just “frozen” and you cannot move. Any idea?
Same for me, have tried anything i can think of (loading old saves, doings sidequests first, sleep, fasttravel) and nothing worked, cant continue playing 
Is there a way to fix this yet?
short term? no. long term? don’t buy incomplete/broken games. don’t pre-order games.
