The Mines of Skalitz consist of two big tunnel systems, this is the lower one.
Distances in this drawing are not right, but the junctions are correct, so you can see which way you need to take.
Unfortunately, I found not a single chest (or any loot) in the hole mine shaft.
I’m almost lost in this mine. This is like a maze. Is there any valuable items (weapon , armor etc) ? I haven’t explored all this.
As I said, I found not a single chest in this mine system, but I know that there are two or more chests in the upper one (I have not explored the upper one yet)
If they find a way to bring blacksmithing into the game in the future, maybe they will include mining so that will be the ‘‘loot’’…
Oh i see.Danke mate.
Why would there be armor or treasure? There were non in real life as well
This is my first attempt at mapping the Skalitz mines:
I’ve got at least one missing gallery (I think a blind/collapsed one), and plan to mark all the surface buildings/ventilators/winches too.
Grid is 50m, gray is the ‘plan’ view at zero height. Red the ‘lofted’ galleries from the isometric view, yellow ladders.
Gray entrances are ‘blind’ Brown ones link to a different exit. Note that there are some narrow gaps, and a few ‘linked’ shafts without ladders - these cannot be climbed. There are one/two vertical steps from a higher to lower corridor, not traversable ‘upwards’, but these are not currently identified explicitly on the map.
Current orientation is 30 degrees E is directly ‘up’, but the orientation is arbitrary and can be adjusted to any value.
3.7km of walkable tunnels, 260m of ladders. Roughly.
As a german: Watch this and use the Minerelated-Terms properly
there is at least one Chest as you can see in my videos.
