Matthew and Fritz

Actually, yeah I would like the option to confront and convince them exactly that. I don’t like being pigeon holed into going along with their hair brained schemes or just ignoring them.

This part of my reply is off-topic, but that is why I haven’t even completed dragon age inquisition, because there is no option to be a mediator, you have to choose a side, even if you’re the “inquisitor”. And I believe that both sides are wrong/right.

Yeah I have to raid a Cuman camp and nab their armor for Matthew’s and Fritz’s disguises. I already have that but i just don’t want to be dragged into their dumb plan. Especially since Henry probably shouldn’t stoop to their level because of his station as squire of Radzig, hunts man of talmberg and bailiff of pribyslavitz. In my role play, I don’t their scheming to compromise Henry’s other responsibilities.

On this way you have the chance too get them what they deserv and get them hanged at ther last quest

Yeah but I think that’s a little too harsh. I just want to talk them out of it. Like one of the other posters said, we’ve accumulated so much wealth, why can’t we just give them the gold? Actually on second thought that’s not a good option, they’re lazy deadbeats and would just drink away the money.

Wouldn’t be the first nor last enabler in history … could make Pribyslavitz dynamics more interesting/impactful

Lol maybe…

I knew there was a good reason I killed Fritz when we first met back up in front of the Sasau Inn. I believe I called him a worthless piece of shit - he attacked me and paid the ultimate price.
I’ll play him a little differently next time.

string it out and let him swing?

LOL that’s great!

But really I think Matthew is the “brains” of the two, Fritz just tags along.

No, he was getting his licks in. Henry at the time was pretty weak.
To be honest, I panicked, and while flailing at the buttons on the controller, inadvertently pulled my axe and that was it for Fritz.
People at the inn started running around crying about a dead body - i high-tailed it to my room to await the authorities.
I got out of town at first light, but then was arrested my next time in Lower Sasau.

I meant on your next run. :skull_and_crossbones:

Were you (Henry) drinking? Two guys havin’ a beer. Chatter gets a little hot. And then, one of the guys pulls out an axe

No - they were by the gate to the Inn- begging or what-have-you.
I don’t recall the dialogue, it was so long ago.
I won’t kill him next time- looks like doing so cost me 3 or 4 side quests…

Omg that’s f****** hilarious! Thanks for the chuckle :joy:

You’re welcome!
In hindsight it is funny, but I must say that I genuinely felt bad at the time, as I did when I killed the “Reluctant Knight” (or whatever he was called) in the one and only time I fought him.
I never would’ve thought a videogame could have me so emotionally invested.
Another feather in WH Studio’s cap, as far as I’m concerned.

I think in my very first meeting with that “knight” I also ended up unintentionally killing him, but then, if I remember correctly, I had to reload a previous save for a specific quest outcome. After that I would run into almost incessantly.
