When you get johanka,nicodimus to go to village and create 1 phial, you travel to village and give antidote to dimus, i visited daniel,straw,woman whos husbands died,bandit,town leader with dimus looking at his wife, the info say ive only healed daniel and s and nothing about the other 4 not even the bandit who lives, what the hell is wrong with this quest?? it fails everytime and i even looked at a guide to see if i missed anything and i havent, or do i need 5 phials 1 for each patient?
Did u make the right potion? You have to get the symptoms right so nicodimus can create the right antidote. And yes u need to heal the others too I’m pretty sure. I just let them die tho they weren’t useful for the main quest I’m on my second playthrough however and will try to save them all.
yep there symtoms are poison from water, as the animals/people are all drinking the water, all the other explanation’s on poisoning dont match there symtom’s, plus i know its correct as the bandit and straws wife get healed, but that isnt the problem, its when i go to each person to give the antidote nothing happen’s its like i dont have it anymore, but its there in my inventory, 2 phials of the stuff, i cure daniel and straws wife and bandit all get the potion, but it only shows daniel and straws wife as getting potion, but the bandit lives/straws wife lives/daniel lives’ and no one else
i followed a guide for it and it says exactly what i did before reading the guide, its bugged, im sure of it, heres a bit of the guide,
1 x Valerian (Herb) – bought from apothecary in Rattay (needed to produce the cure).
2 x Thistle (Herb) – bought from apothecary in Rattay (needed to produce the cure).
1 x Charcoal – bought from any blacksmith/forge (needed to produce the cure).
Go check all 5 houses marked with a white cross on the door and talk to the villagers inside to learn about their symptoms. One woman will ask you to help bury her husband who died of the sickness. It doesn’t matter what dialogue you pick, the last option not to help her is the fastest and she will provide the information regardless.

Upon talking to all the infected (5 houses with white cross on door), this objective will be completed. It will give you the info you need to determine what the illness is.
all 5 got visited by me and only daniel/straws wife i saved but gave it to all the rest,

you know i might just do that next time out
when you do the cut scene with bandit talk to straw about hes no murderer. once complete stay in barn pass 6 hours depending if night or day, if night sleep till 5 or 6 am, a pop up will say you failed well you didnt talk to bailif melk. and ask how is everyone and you will get doctor trophy, do not leave merhj till you have passed time and spoke to melk, then leave all yellow coloured areas will clear
if not you missed talking to someone. go find them,

I too all of a sudden failed this quest, so I loaded a savegame before it failed (luckily i didn’t too much already) and ran around Merhojed 5 times again and I had to go back to Straw’s wife and “inspect” her again after giving all the other people the cure and only after that the objective was completed, maybe that will help for some other people too.
But then again almost a week has past already since the last post so I can imagine you don’t want to redo all the progress you’ve made since then.
the watchman says straw “didnt live to morning” but he clearly is alive?
I failed this quest too. It’s buggy I gave everybody the medicine.
