After launching the game on Steam, the Warhorse Studios logo shows up and then as soon it starts loading before the “Charles the IV…” sequence, the game just crash, and Steam informs me that the executable is missing, and if I try to verify and validate the game files, Steam also tells me that game files are corrupted.
Another user said a virus was detected in the 1.9.1 exe, of course a false alarm, but probably your anti-virus software removed the exe.
That’s exactly what happened here. Thank you for your response anyway. It’s likely one of those situation where the anti-virus never bothered me until this time and you don’t realize it was right the cause of this issue.
