I’m stuck. Completely stuck in this game. The baptism of fire quest has proved to me to be impossible no matter how hard I try. No matter how much sabotage I do, I always end up losing too many men once we reach the main camp at the hilltop. I’ve searched for answers online and all of them say just stay back and let the army fight them, but when I do that I always lose too many men and fail the quest. I’m really not sure what to do here. Does anyone have a solution to this? Maybe some handy console commands?
Have you tried to sabotage them before the battle? Carefully scouted the camp?
Most say to quickly burn the hay to disperse the archers which makes it 10x easier

Burning hay doesnt help me, any advice guys I’ve been stuck for 10+ hours looking for help on the forum cause youtube just tries bug exploits that dont help…
Not sure if you can do other things instead of proceeding with the quest. If you can I’d say go do side quests and explore the map, hunt Cuman camps and bandits. Earn some coin and better prepare yourself. This quest was cake for me, I slaughtered everyone myself
How do you burn the hay? Is it part of the sabotage thingy or can you still do this while in battle? I’m stuck too!
I haven’t actually done this myself yet, just from what i’ve seen online. it’s the next quest on my list so i’m not sure what to expect
