I saw someone say there is a (rumored at least) update to the game that will provide something like a modding SDK?

Well, it is a thing, mentioned in the DLC roadmap. But, I have no idea, how soon will this happen.

Ah. So . . . could be this month, could be never. Gotcha.
First band of bastards, then a women’s lot and after they’re will be mod support according to their roadmap.

Okay, good to know. So basically once they release Woman’s Lot, Modding SDK should be next.
Obvoiusly there is a LOT that one can do just by adjusting values in these archived xml files, etc., but I can see how changes over the past year have made some older mods “obsolete.” So with that in mind, I think I’ll hold off on trying to make an “Even More Hard Hardcore mod,” maybe just try a “clean” play through on Hardcore with all nine disabilities and no gratuitous save reloading.
That would be one of the best DLCs, because fans could improve almost anything to make this game better for any individual player like all the Skyrim mods that keep the game alive over all these years.

In this case, they should have started with SDK. And then - watch, what exactly do people want - and implement in the game as DLC.
