I was just wondering whether or not there was any recent word on the planned release of modding tools for the KCD community? Is this still a possibility, or has Crytek killed any hopes for modding?

there is a complete mechwarrior Mod for Crysis wars.
And Crysis had a shitload of mods:
crysis 2 and 3 too^^
