Well thanks to urban dictionary i now know what the expression means. But yes i agree with you all we are doing is arguing/bickering. Those reasons are why im sure tobi closed his other threads they were beyond saving. This thread i willing to bet is the next to get closed and for good reason. But i do not start forum wars. This place was a war zone long before i showed up same with his other threads. Ive only started 2 threads in which no insulting took place nothing but feedback for the game which is why the forum is here in the first place not to talk about homosexuality and the Muslim brotherhood. Both of my threads were relevant and in no way insulting to the devs or community.

As I said itâs not an insult. It was an approximation based on experience and knowledge. If you would stop being so full of yourself (like for instance continuing your trend of multiple comments even though youâve been educated on a more efficient way of communicating) and try to think like someone who is not you. I understand your mind because Iâve been that age and Iâve constantly put myself in the shoes of others, in the minds of others. Why do I respond to you even though your comments have been immature and arrogant and even containing flat out lies? Because I expect that, but I also hold out hope that every person doesnât choose to be ignorant, or arrogant, or immature. That people can be introspective and improve their own mind and way of thinking. You can think of me as an idealist that expects the best from humanity.

I think im just going to do a separate comment just for you. Its very clear you get off on negative attention seeing how all of your threads are negative attention. I think weâre done here unless you come up with a argument in the next 10 minutes that is relevant.

I´ll just give some examples.
The first is a somewhat obvious one. The old testamentary never denies the existence of other gods. Instead it says: Yes there are other ones, but I won´t allow you to worship them because I was the one who saved you from slavery and no one else. And because we are talking about christianity, a monotheism, this statement is, if you speak strictly, heresy.
The second one is less obvious. With the way god is adressed and referred to in the O.T., it´s most likely that he originally nothing but a mere weather god (many referrings to storms, winds and other weather phenomenoms). His holy name supports this theory. Jhwh is often translated with âI am that I amâ or " I shall be what I shall be". But there is an other root which is probably the correct one since it is closer to the original. This translation would be âThe one who blowsâ, so an other hint for a weather god. Since Christianity considers god as almighty and not just responsible for the weather, this would be heresy.
And a third example. This one is a bit controversial but nonetheless interesting. The word Jhwh is holy for the jews, so in the original O.T. it isn´t used very often. Therefor there are other terms for god, such as âElohimâ. Now Elohim is a plural verb, referring to a single god, something that seems not very logical, at least to me. But if you take an other statement from the apocalypse of Daniel, in which is stated that there were several thrones (maybe for several deities), then you recognize that there is the possibility that there was something like a Council of Deities which was formed into a single deities later. However this is just a theory, it is also possible that the use of the plural is just a pluralis maiestatis, but this isn´t sure too, since it is not known if there was something like that in this time.
And I am neither a âknow it allâ nor a âsocial justice warriorâ and I don´t really use Tumblr, so please don´t accuse people for something you don´t know for sure. It´s just not nice and you wouldn´t want that either. Thank you ^^

one ground rule of internet discussions, they arenât real discussion that progress content wise, at least those on those topics where mostly opinions are asked for. In these cases threads are more rounds of stating the own viewpoint on a topic, repeatedly. Either they end fast because the participants agree or they go up in flames because people restate the same opinion in a more forceful way each round. Therefore, closing at some point is usually the best option, because those threads donât get better over time (except for entertainment purposes for the rest of the readers, of course )

I was going to write a larger reply but @Asgo took the words right out of my mouth. The problem with these kinds of threads is that nobody really expects to change someoneâs opinion on the subject so it just becomes a never ending back and forth of opinions. When it becomes two or three main posters it really becomes something they should engage in between themselves as it doesnât benefit the community as a whole and most of the posts have absolutely nothing to do with the game or its content.
A moderator has every right to decide when enough is enough and the content is off topic and full of insults and trolls. When nothing but negativity comes from a thread then what good is it to the community? Even if the conversations started out calmly with the best intentions, we can all agree it was closer to monkeys throwing poop at the zoo than civil discussion.
Considering the title of the thread (either the moderator is supposedly lazy or he has surely a lot of other people and things to abuse) I would argue about any time people start to post him PMs or flag posts made by others.
As far as I know it is supposed that the shift to monotheism via monolatrism reflected by the Old Testament took place about 1200-800 BC, but was definitely finished only about the time of and in connection with the Babylonian captivity. Which makes sense as it seems to me.
You are right about the time and circumstances of the transformation yes. But pleaaseâŚletâs stop the discussions about religion. At least here, if you or some other persons want to dicuss this any further then feel free to send a PM , I think itâs Better that way^^

I was calling madaras a social justice warrior not you. Please provide quotes in the old testament where it says there are multiple gods. God does more in the old testament then cause storms. He destroyed sodom and Gomorra with balls of fire and caused 9 plauges in Egypt that had nothing to do with weather. Most of what youâre saying is either false or up for debate.
You were the one who brought religion up in the first place me and madras werenât even talking about it. Follow your own advice please most of your posts have been about religion.
