I just wanted to ask if there are news for mods on PS4?
After some time now I regret buying the game for PS and not for PC…
If mods ever come to consoles PS will be last to happen. Look at the case for it in FO4. Sony is very protective of its systems. A deal would still hafta be made between MS Sony Crytek and WHS first.
Also mod support isn’t scheduled till late 2019.
Sooo, don’t hold your breathe/hope on that for now.
No, and I would put money on it never happening. Sony is not known for being very compromising when it comes to these sorts of things.
That is a monumental dream. Would love it. Still play FO4 because of it
WH has previously said no console mods
Mods get tricky on ‘family platforms’ for a few reasons, and the typical takeaway is that mods that use official graphics (as found in professional DLC) ensure no naked people etc.
Warhorses stance on the topic is important as it saves them dealing with whiners (where are the ‘promised’ console mods?)
When they have finished making their DLCs they will be in a position to understand how resourse intesive said content is.
If consoles have any headroom left (eg available RAM) then possibilities start to open up.
If course there is the whole sorting stuff out with crytek first (scapey the scape goat strikes again)
