Monastary, f*cked myself

So, in earlier gameplay I fell of the scaffholdings into the monastary courtyard. Survived the fall, I took the oppertunity to roam around. Stole keys of forbidden closet and stole forbidden books. Guards got me in the end of course and I was trown in jail.

Now, hours and hours later, I’m back in the monastary, but this time as a mission. Now I get the failure because the keys I suppose to steal are gone, just as the books are.

Warhorse, you said I could go my own way in the game and nothing in liniar, but now I f*cked myself apperently. No way I’m going to start all over. Can this be solved?

I stole a key in the monastery too earlier
I hope my game isnt bugged now…
will tell you when I got the quest
that would be probably 30-40h of gameplay bugged for me

Did you find pious? If so you might want to get some picklocks from one of the monks maybe you can use those to get out of there

Found a “solution”… Got myself kicked out of the monastary (not even on purpose…). Since I already read on internet who was the one to kill (looking for a solution, it is almost impossible not to strumble over this info), I went to get my stuff back. Now I had my lockpicks and weapons, I lockpicked my way in, look for the one and killed him right there. Took the dice and fled the scene. Job done (although failed a couple sidequests to do in monastary).

Warning fellow players!
I wanted to do the mission with the monastary again. Not possible; the writ wich you need to enter is gone. Nowhere to found (the guard does not have it any more).
Great work Warhorse. You did some great things with this game, but also created some shite situations.

And even thoght the book is in your chest belonging, and you can go get it at any time with after you get a lockpick. Plus you can even advance in the convasation with Siskin. the quest will NOT UPDATE cause the cabinet is still open. I believe the quest would be updated if you could unluck it again.
