Mordhau / FPS

Maybe someone is looking for a Multiplayer, medieval First Person Slasher…

Was bevor “Slasher”. They changed from Unity to Unreal engine…

Looks interesting, though i dont particularly like that they are building the game around skill differences (That you can take out several oponnets based on your mechanical skill).

Because it means that it wont be a team game of tactics but a game of individuals. Too much similar to Chivarly, id say, if not the same.

Interesting, but really looks like a chiv clone.

The ease of beheading is a real turn away for me.

I would like to try it out though looks like it has potential to be better then chic which is in its own a fun game.

Interesting, but I agree, it’s WAY too easy to dismember opponents. ESPECIALLY armored ones.

I wonder if they really implement mordhau (and other armored fighting techniques?), what will be it’s puropse given that armored opponents are seemingly so easy to defeat with regular swordplay.

Otherwise looks somewhat better than Chivalry, particularly what the guy said about customization of armor and weapons.

Toooooo realistic for me.

Just read an article today on Kotaku where another medieval game (not as big as KCD) is also creating a game that takes place in medieval times. The combat looks kind of similar, but with more gore and more emphasis on battling each other (pvp). However, it seems fun to me to compare them both, maybe they can learn from each other?

I really like the realistic consequences of a hit. The fact that dismemberment is seen, is a great plus for me. In most games the just fall dead and that’s it. The armor and weapons also look very good to me.

I really like how they improved their work since last time I watched them  I also appreciate that they are honest about their goals, this game looks like it could be very good successor to Chivalry

agreed
When i first saw i really though it would be pretty bad. But it might have some value after all. (still not my kind of game though)

KCD really needs gore, but not that much

From what I hear the chivalry devs slowly ruined their combat with patches that broke things more, and never went back and fixed it. It’s the best excuse for a clone.

Only if they add Gugels to the armor layers

So I just found out this game, which looks pretty good. I’m just posting this here incase someone would be interested and doesn’t know about it.

Edit: Seems like it even has Half swording in it.

An awesome Dev discussion from our very own @ValentinBk
