So, from what I have seen it appears that KC will have one large world space. This is great for a land based game, but I was hoping for the ability to make a Pirate Mod. Since it is not practical to create something like the entire caribbean as a world space, I am hoping that KC will eventually support multiple world spaces.
That way I could create one world space for Tortuga, another for Port Royale, etcetera. I could then use cut scenes to transition between them. I would then also create sea based world spaces for naval combats. And actually if there was some moddable interface to scaling, one could use that to create a low-res carribean world space to use as a world map.
This feature would also be useful for mods that wish to explore multiple climates without trying to squeeze them all into one world space. For example, start in the deserts of Israel, move to the mountains of Italy, and then transition to the fjords of Norway in your story.
