the quest my friend timmy is bugged : i got to the camp and the bandit killed timmy then after i cant do anything i found the camp it does nothing there is no quest i progress plz help me ive been playing for 6 hours trying to find another way but it doesnt seem like there is one
Reload a save from before the windmill and timmys sister. When you talk to the guys, tell them where timmy is. (Get cash for doing so) then when the run off, use bow to kill the leader. Kill others if you can, either way, with leader dead. Timmy won’t die.
This quest is still hilariously bugged after Woman’s Lot patch. I told the bandits where to find Tmmy because I would not have been able to fight against 4 and my speaking skill was not high enough. So 2 of them started running towards the farm and the one guarding me and the guy with black/white hood lingered around a bit until his script kicked in. So I ordered Mutt to attack him and fought him and my guard and killed them. Then I rode after Morcock and the kettle helm guy and killed them with some help from Merhojed guard. Then went to Timmy. He is clearly mentally handicapped so I just made him promise he would not take part on such activities again feeling sorry for the guy. He has clearly been led by others to do stupid shit. But after that before Nest of Vipers I have been mucking about for at least those 10(?) days that it takes for all NPC to respawn. When I ride past the farm where Timmy was I hear some commotion and go to check it out. And I find the black/white hood guy and the kettle helm guy there killing the civilians of the farm. So I go in and kill them AGAIN. And just when I am done Timmy shows up with the Merhojed guards who start wondering where the murderer is. It is a delightful shitshow and after Nest of Vipers the farm is still burned and presumably Timmy is dead as a result. There clearly are some NPCs that should not be able to respawn but can (like the group of Morcock’s goons). I might place a bet on Warhorse to never be able to actually patch that quest bug free. In all good backer intent.
