I just Failed the alchemy tutorial! I started to early and bugged it out.
thistle is a pain in the ass to find stick to the roads theres some right near where you start to the left.

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me where the alchemy table is? I cannot find it.
I still haven’t found one bit of Thistle. I had no trouble finding the other ingredients, but I can’t find any thistle, and the herb woman said I would need 5. Did you ever find enough? I’ve looked along the roads and I don’t see any…
The alchemy area is at the home of the old herb woman in the woods. There should be a marker on your map to show you where she is.
@Skoruligr its in the forest if you didn’t find it yet. the map shows it as a little hut.
@ms4sman stick on the road you spawn on turn around walk up the road maybe 20 paces there’s some slightly off the road on the right . then if you turn back around and follow the road into the village there are a few along the road again on the right. when you make it to the bridge there is some in the grass on the left. you may have to pick the same bunch twice before getting any.
Each thistle plant I found gives you two sprigs, each patch off nettle gave me 2-3. all the charcoal can be found just behind the archery range.
I planned on making a tutorial tomorrow after work if someone hasn’t already beaten me to it. Still have not successfully completed the potion yet but close!

I got tired if finding thistle so I just bought it… So I miss onething, that I dont even remember the name on, but Started with C or CH. I didnt even understand when she ment when she said where it is…
I found one. There was absolutely no visual of the thistle itself, I just ran around the roads looking at the ground. Ended up buying the other four from the shopkeeper with the money from all my extra Nettle. I ruined my alchemy tutorial by starting it too soon, as well, so I’ve gotta start over. 
Also, did anyone notice that if you ask the herb lady where to find the herbs, the first time she will tell you that Thistle is pink, and the second time she says it’s yellow? Just me?
There’s also shopkeeper selling some thistle (among other things) if you are desperate 
And one thistle is located between him and the pile of wood near the forge. Otherwise the thistle is mainly found in the northern half of the map, near the roads.

Anyone know where to find Marianne? Found her my first time through, then had to reset due to the alchemy messing up. Now I can’t seem to find her, don’t think I can at least. Talked to her by the farm near the woods on the southern (I think) end of the map, thought I found her again but you can’t talk to that woman there.
No, I had the same thing happen. That is part of what is confusing me I think is her color description. I guess I’ll go find the shopkeeper and buy some in return for all my nettles.
