Do side quests seem kind of pointless to anyone else? The rewards are pretty terrible. I’ve amassed about 30 grand just hunting and doing alchemy, have the best gear, and am now just destroying enemies in one hit. It kind of makes me just want to run through the main story.
Depends on a person’s play style. Some want the little tidbits of story, some want to hunt, others like killing bandits, I personally like treasure hunting and archery.
I am looking forward to an expansion (after bug fixes of course) so that we have more to do in-game.
Oh yeah I can’t wait till about a year or two down the road after patches, DLC, and Mods… Should be amazing.
I don’t get why there are so many complaints about the game. Bugs are to be expected. They did an amazing job for such a small (not to mention new) team.
Oh I love the game. I’m still doing all the side quests too because I love the gameplay. I just all of a sudden noticed how incredibly OP I am and that their are limited activities. I’m playing on PC and haven’t really had any bugs. No major ones at all. I think the only crash I have had was when I was playing around with Rez and graphics settings.
I’ve had a few big issues on XBone but nothing game breaking so far; mostly just minor graphical things and getting stuck on loading screens (reloading a save fixes that though)
I’m almost looking forward to being OP lol. I’m 20 or so hours in and still have issues surviving. Might help to learn riposte and some more combos. Found St. George’s sword (best long sword in the game) but don’t have the stats to use it properly yet.
You definitely need to go finish training master combos to learn riposte. A riposte with a piercing swing to the head is the best move in the game!
Tip to gaining strength quicker… Pick herbs! Their is a perk, not sure what level it’s unlocked, where gathering herbs also levels your strength Stat! Also turn the herbs into potions to make tons of money. Also, training with Bernard with a long sword, mace, or axe.
For agility train with Bernard using a short sword.
Also when parrying and riposte, hit the lb and rb triggers at the same time.
The amount of early accesible high tier loot needs to be eliminated.
And the economy is a bit too easy. Prices on all gear needs to go up, merchants need you pay you less and miller’s should give less for stolen goods.
There are economy mods out there that nerf the herbalism and alchemy cheese and make adjustments to selling loot though.
I am rich too, but i haven’t bought the best stuff yet (still got nice stuff). I just like the challenge, ive heard it gets too easy. But i like doing side quests , but mostly i like roaming around messing with peoples lives
