If I choose to arrest Pious instead of killing him after the quest Needle in a Haystack the sidequest In the Cloister gets bugged out and stays permanently stuck in my quest log. If I choose to kill him then In the Cloister is completed after Needle in a Haystack is completed. Is this a known bug?
@WH_janrucker Still happens in patch 1.3.1 on PC, just finished the same quest “a needle in a haystack” in the same way, by arresting Pious and taking him to the bailiff and still the sidequest " in the cloister" isn’t completed.
I don’t know if you guys are aware of this since there is no activity to this post.

Yes the bug is known and fixed. Sadly the fix didn´t make it to the latest patch 1.3. This fix will be shipped to you in the next version. For now if you wan´t to continue, you can choose other solution and progress in the main quest line.

Actually we have version 1.4 but it seems that this bug is still not fixed.
I can help Pious get free and let him go - then I got two quests as completed :
- Needle in a Haystack
- In the Cloister
BUT if I want arrest him and take to the city -then I got only one quest completed - Needle in a Haystack .
In the Cloister is still active. Could you find a solution for this?

There is a new patch but it seems that problem still exists. Any ideas for future ?
I just found out that in the cloister is even a seperate side quest! Dear me.
Was double checking all the side quests i finished.
According to the web site, part of the in the cloister quest is rating out father Nevlas about the stolen book.
It’s frustrating how some stuff in the game is so vague but I still think this is , despite all the issues, is still one of the best ever.
