I cannot sit to eat with the others…And i am told that would be necessary to move further in the quest…how to fix?

There is a specific place you have to be. As soon as you walk in go straight to the furthest set of tables away from the door. go to the inside seats of the second table of the set. I hope that makes sense.
I played that part, and honestly is one of my favourite missions on any game.
I didn’t have that problem, but you shouldn’t sit anywhere. There’s only one plate where you can eat from. Look for it and the option to interact with it should appear.

I never did any of the daily tasks. I just skipped time to complete my objectives. If you picked the rite dialog options during your orientation and got poisoned. just follow along with his plan. Sure I got thrown in monk prison once for missing afew masses, but I also had high enough speech and charisma to talk my way of trouble. I think that whole quest took me like 15 minutes to complete.
I later retuned at night to during the restless spirit quest and ransacked and lock picked the shit out the monastery.
The daily grind of playing as a monk was very boring to me lol.
You should interact with a specific plate and a “Eat” command should appear instead of a generic “Sit” command.
