Nest of Vipers Failed

Hey guys, ran into a seriously game-breaking issue tonight. Upon turning in the Nest of Vipers quest to Sir Radzig about scouting the bandit camp, it fails immediately after he tells me to go get reinforcements from Talmberg. I no longer have a main quest, and can’t continue with the game at all. This is on PS4 with the 1.04 Patch released recently.

I’ve looked around and seen that this issue likely arises from killing all the bandits in the camp when you go to scout. While reloading a save before then could solve the problem, I actually scouted the camp 10-15 hours before reporting it to Sir Radzig and I’ll likely stop playing if I have to redo all of that progress.

Is there any fix coming to PS4, or any solution to my problem? I love playing this game but I’m not willing to redo all the progress that would be lost reloading. I’ve actually had to delete a lot of old saves because of a separate bug needing me to delete saves in order to make new ones, so I’m not even sure if I can reload anywhere close to that point. Any help would be welcome.

Oh shi… I just killed everybody there before even starting main quest in Rattay. I hope it will work for me. It’s a long way untill I reach this quest.

It’s a real game with real consequences what did you expect?? Lol

Those consequences being that I shouldn’t be able to play the game anymore? Ridiculous. I wouldn’t even mind if the game did punish me in game but allowed me to continue. It’s not even like Radzig says “make sure not to kill everyone”.

Does anyone have an actual answer to this?

Found a potential solution. Unfortunately it requires you to return to the quest with Father Simon (the Skalitz Priest).

During the quest, during the fight outside the tavern, if you take out a weapon or fail to protect him it causes the bug with the Nest of Vipers quest.

This worked the first time i went back on PS4. I am going to go back again this eve and try again to check it wasnt a bit of luck.

Wish these bugs weren’t in the game. :frowning:
