Nettle bug I found earlier but couldn't post

Hi I am having a hard time finding out how and where to post a bug I have placed a copy here just in case

CPU: Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.50GHz
Motherboard: Asus X79 Deluxe ATX LGA2011 Motherboard
Memory: 12GB
Video Card: Nvidia GTX860m
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1

Nettles can stay around after you pick them

if you Pick a herb and quickly go to your inventory, then wait until the Nettles or thistle show up the plants will still be around when you close your inventory but you cannot use them again.

Oh. I must have missed it in the bug list. I thought I read it thoroughly.

I need to test it for repeatability but I had one the other night where I managed to steal the hourglass and crash the game. Any sense in pursuing that one or do you know that too?

Hi! How exactly did you manage to crash it? What did you have in your inventory? What do you mean by “stealing”? What exactly were you doing? Thank you! :slight_smile:

I haven’t been able to repeat the effect yet. It is rather complicated.

Inventory:
Starting gear
6 of each ingredient
8 gold

I started the Alchemy quest as usual. Found out the ingredients and was happily on my way to make some money to do the archery mini game.
Then I got the stuck at the table glitch. Couldn’t read the book couldn’t get away, couldn’t put water, or any other liquid, in the pot.

I was using an Xbox controller so I thought I would try and escape by hitting buttons for a bit. Found the trigger controls activated the bellows and hourglass. Nothing happened besides the usual flipping the hour glass and getting the reset the table message. So I was about to give up, and was just absentmindedly strumming the A B Y X Button when the animation for the hour glass started, (I assume I hit the trigger) he reached out flipped it over and then took it back with him. Then the came crashed. Gave a little warning box that said the program and ended unexpectedly.

I haven’t tried to hard to repeat it yet but I can if you’d like.

I was playing in windowed mode, with only steam running.

Okay completely repeatable. Slightly different movement. Hard to record as my screen capture program keeps crashing when the game goes. managed it though.

What I did was go up to the alchemy station and enter it. then hit the reset table button and then slightly after the turn hourglass button then as soon as it is in my hand I reset the table.

I can´t watch it. I tried to crash the game as you said, but nothing has happened - so I probably need to see the video :slight_smile:

Yes, there is a problem with the reset button. I crashed on my very first run, … but I could ’ t reproduce it. I tried more that twenty times. :disappointed:
I hate bugs I can’t reproduce!!!:blush:

Try the video again. I had the privacy settings up too high.
