Never got this mad at a game

Seriously. I just lost hours and hours because save system is broken. And listen, I’m not even complaining about the saviour schnaps being expensive nor about there being no “save and exit”. I’m just that that, for some goddamned reason, the game told the it had saved and it simply didn’t.

I had been going though some side questing for hours and decided to do the main quest. First fcking encampment. MANUALLY SAVED by drinking the fcking potion. It said “game saved.”. I continued in the camp. Got busted by some cuman scum. Thought “oh well, saved at the beggining of the camp, might as well die and restart it”.
For my fcking surprise when I pressed continue the game loaded to an automatic save 3 and 1/2 fucking hours ago on the middle of a side quest! I mean, not even the auto save of the freaking main quest worked? what the actual fck man?

I love this game. I really do, but these goddamned bugs are making me hate this goddamned f*cking bullshit.

You pressed continue? That usually loads from the latest autosave. Saviour Schnapps would not count. Try hitting Load Game instead and look for your Manual Save. Same thing happened to me then I looked in Load Game and found it

Game loads the latest save in the chain no matter what type it is.

Yes, I pressed continue as it was a main quest and it had said “game saved” at the beggining of the camp. I also looked for the manual save, to no avail. For some reason, as I found out in the worst possible way, the game doesn’t seem to save manually anymore (I have around 10 saviour schanpps in the inventory, so that’s not the issue). As a matter of fact, the game randomly saves when it wants to, as even the automatic saves don’t seem to work. Idk man, I’m just sad at this game. I’ve been having lots and lots of problems, always finding ways to work around it and go on. But losing progress simply because the game didn’t save properly? Beyond stressful…

I decided to give it some time. Will probably play another game for a couple of months hoping they fix at least some of these. I work night shifts auditing a hotel, can’t handle this kind of stress because of bugs =T Challenging games I can deal with, but not this.

I stopped playing the game because of the bugs and one hit killing everything just got boring. The run here and talk to this person then run there and talk to another person quests didn’t help. One of the only games I’ve never finished.
