I return to my machine to see that GOG had updated my game to version 1.4.1 GV (previously I was on 1.4.1 G).
Anyone know what this does?
Could it address the missing cutscene issue that many GOG users have noticed??

Not likely. WH specifically stated that they were working on 1.4.2 and there’s been no announcements since, also the cutscene issue is on steam versions as well.

No clue, maybe some kind of pre-patch for 1.4.2? Your guess is as good as mine.
Since my last log in it was 1.4.1 without G and GV. Interesting.
I now have the GV version too, around 5.6 GB to download.
But no idea what the letters in the Warhose versioning system mean, according to officials on Twitter 1.4.2 should be the next big patch.
Maybe it’s a pre-patch that loads new data but does not change the actual game to shorten download times for the actual patch?
Does Steam also have the 5,6 GB GV update?
You must have different GOG than I do as I have no new patches on my GOG.

And now there is a 3.7GB Patch on too!
1.4.2 I hope and think! 
Still 1.4.1 in my library. No G, no GV, no 1.4.2.
I got 1.42 from the Galaxy updater very shortly after release and reading it here, NO problems.
was in the middle of posting how it was messing up again the then 1.42 popped in.
