If I start a new game in hard core mode, will it delete my other game in the normal mode? I’ve nearly finished the store in my game and I’d like to start a game in hard core mode, I don’t want to loose my game when I start the new one so I’m asking you.

I can confirm what Jnanzar said. You can have several playlines with separate save files. I’m currently playing in normal mode and in hardcore mode concurrently.
