So my system says it’s still running 1.6.1 but everyone who got to the DLC before me said there was no grindstone…as far as I know I have not gotten an update yet there is a grindstone in my B.Smith…perhaps people just cant find it? It is kind of tucked away.
The swordsmith did have it. The basic blacksmith and the armoursmith will get it in the next patch.

Gotcha, that makes sense…but why would an armor smith have a grindstone? Do other armor smiths in KCD have one? I guess a blacksmith but I would see that as repair kits, a sword smith would have one, perhaps a black smith, but why an armor smith?
Guess I chose correctly, especially considering it doesn’t really matter past the special sword and shield and how you can get the shield without an armor smith.
Edit: also I read someone who is having problems where their armor smith wont repair items…the sword smith will repair armor. So really, probably just go sword smith in my opinion.
No, other armourers do not have it. On the other hand, towns large enough to have an armourer have balcksmith as well.
So it could be seen as in the small village as Prybislavitz the armourer kept the grindstone to subtitue for the balcksmith as well.
Also (or rather mainly) there was the feedback.
P.S. Sadly I did not encounter this bug. Do you know anything more about it?
Warhorse studios will continue to do patches for this game until the hell froze.
At their speed, they will reach a maximum of KCD 2.0 when hell froze

I’m not sure which bug you’re referring too. So far, I have no experienced any bugs to my knowledge regarding the DLC From the Ashes…I have completed it, got some (not all) NPC recruits, made my village have a decent income so I make money as opposed to lose it and everything works.
Only bug so far is I asked the archery master for a tournament and the game locked up in between what Henry said and the Archery Master’s response…restarted game, hasnt happened again.
Patches, yes.
But what about fixing the game?

game works fine for me…any graphic issues will come with patches. All I experience that is really bothersome is clipping with padded coifs and chain coifs and some pop ins…but it’s really not as bad for me and some it is for some people apparently.
