New steam code for final game?

Hello,

As I couldn’t participate in alpha due to work, I handed my brother in law my alpha code for steam so he could participate for me and to convince him on buying the game to play together.

Now seems the alpha code is upgrading into the beta one, I was said in twitter it would not be a problem, but now I’m afraid it will!?

Have I just granted my King pledge to him?

I’m in a similar boat to you mate. It was silly of them to do this without making it known from the start. Especially since they used to be separate.
