If you upgraded your pledge recently (two weeks) the system doesn’t upgrade until the finish of the campaign. I upgraded to Baron few weeks ago and I had to sent a private message to @warhorse for change manually.
Speaking of the topic, I’d love to upgrade more my pledge of Baron but I haven’t more money to spend in games (although this game is what I’ve always wanted 
). I think what the project need is more backers no upgrades of actual backers (but it’s ok too)

I’ve talked with one spanish youtuber with 130K subs, he said he will take a look over the game, but I don’t know if he finally will make a video or not. : (
Also the game has been mentioned in videogame press but seems it is not enough.
Ok, you convinced me, lol. Just upgraded from Baron to Duke. The kids will enjoy the “goodies” and I’ll enjoy Act ll.
I went back and found that Game Informer posted a news bit about this. They did update when the project hit its funding level but it’d be nice if they did another update. Then again, it’s not their duty to remind people the project is out there.
What Warhorse is doing is a game I have always wanted made. If I could pledge more I definitely would. Could only afford Earl though. Would have done Saint if I had those kind of funds. Haha

Soy español . Warhorse are doing a great job with the information but they need to talk to important magazines and give exclusive information for sponsor the game. Also the option of pay with Paypal at the same time that the campaign is very important because a lot of people dislike pay with credit card, and although Warhorse say that it isn’t possible I saw others campaigns with Paypal payment outside kickstarter.
Only I hope what Warhorse keep the goals when accept Paypal after the campaign on Kickstarter and so achieve improvements to the game.

i may pledge more money however, MP is not likely to be a big draw for me personally. extended story or more things to do within it, sand boxing so to speak, definitely would.

I would like to back the game more but I only wanted the digital version only so I went with the viscount for that reason.
I had been thinking that it would have been a good idea for the developers to have some extras that we could pledge for now that would be available to us in game right away that otherwise you would have to earn. For example they could sell different horses and armor now and we could buy what we wanted for our character. Perhaps we would not start with what we buy in game but they could be the reward for an early quest…
A very successful example of a game doing this is Star Citizen that allows backers to buy space ships that will be available in the game. I backed the game at the start and then spent double that on ships.

I upped my pledge from Baron to Viscount as I look forward to several of the stretch goals. I would be willing to go further, however (as others have mentioned) I’m a digital-only kinda guy and things start getting uninteresting after Viscount. Another 85 pounds for Act II and then another 175 pounds for Act III is not sufficient to get me to pledge more. If they added digital-only tiers in those ranges, that could get interesting. Not to mention, as Kiwi also noted, more interesting stretch goals - I like the 700,000 and 800,000 pound goals but the 900,000 pound goal is of limited interest (I’ll check it out, but won’t focus on it)

I’m really hoping the Kickstarter raises funds for all the stretch goals, but this doesn’t mean we have to pledge bigger amounts. There’s over 22,500 backers; if we all spread the word on facebook, twitter, youtube, tumblr, etc. etc. there’s a pretty high chance the kickstarter will reach its goal
You can just upgrade your pledge to another, you won’t end up playing double. 
I don’t know about others, but some of us are members of clans/guilds related to other games that have similar forums. I’ve posted on mine and gotten several members interested who are most likely going to be pledging. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing!
