god dayuuum. i am going to do a German play through.
Maybe Iām biased because Iām German. But I speak English, German and French, and to me the German version sounds the best. Amazing job.
My God!.. The beautiful graphics, the story, the swordplay, the music, the choices and consequences available. Thereās a reason why I pre-ordered this epic gem! It might just will be the game that goes to my number 1 favorite game of all-time,ā¦and thatās even with the few things that had to be removed due to time constraints. Once they are added through patches, DLCās, and Mods,⦠this will be a true masterpiece for the generations. And when KCD 2 comes around,⦠it will only get better. WOW! I was truly blown away with this 2 minute video. Thank you so much everyone at Warhorse Studios for all your hard work!
Man, so glad I was here from the start.

To all the companies who said no to WH in the beginning id like to say, cunts.
Very nice trailer. Good work!
Btw, is it just me or is really the French version a lot less bright than the English one?
Can someone build me a time machine, so I can travel 12 days into the future?
Ok, It will take me 13 days
What an unbelievably dull and boring trailer!
Donāt get me wrong, Iām hyped for KCD for past god-knows-how-many years, Kickstarter supporter and so on. And holding my breath till 13th of Februaryā¦
But compared to that fake 2014 CGI trailer Warhorse used to pitch game to investors/kickstarter and this one⦠well. It is dull. The original trailer was gazillion times better, even though it was made up. This one screams āindie early access game on steamā to me. Even though as I understand, KCD should be AAA game with similar budget and production values - plus fucktons more of love and passion put into it compared to other titles
I donāt think this trailer captures how cool KCD will be by any stretch of imagination. Thereās only two cool cuts; the guy that looks like Dan Vavra and that high angle one from monastery ceiling.
Rest is just meh. Also itās very visible that lip sync is not really in sync
Sorry to be so negative, itās just how I feel. Feels like youāve gotten better at making games and forgot how to make trailers⦠or pre-release crunch has taken its toll?
Making trailers isnāt same as making games. Trailers can be levels ahead of games they advertise. Just see the best ones ever:
You could be CoD fan or you could not be, but this is impressive as hell nevertheless. Your first question will be āwhat the hell is going onā and you want to get into it to find out
How else did they get most of the gamers in the world to put thousands of hours into their quite generic, formulaic gameplay on potato landscape etc?
Tell me you donāt want to become Geralt after this
Those are - I think - best game trailers ever
Iām sure there are many really good trailers out there the question is how many time/effort/money you are willing to spend for some trailer. Warhorse has brought up many Videos till now, its not like this should be the trailer to get you hooked. The game and its concept, the detail, the story those are the things they have their main focus on.
I think the Trailer is pretty neat even though it might not be cgi quality it shows how the game really is and what I like most about it is the music and I like what I hear on german synchro.
Iām pretty sure Warhorse Studios has one of the best games on their hand. Itād be sad if it flunked due half-assed marketing/crappy trailer.
Iād imagine working on a lovechild for 9 years would make you see it way differently than rest of the world. And appreciate different aspects of it than general public would.
Also, all latest videos PRE-trailer are pretty good. The letās-answer-skyrim-player-questions one and the dual narrator one etc.
Dude, you are nitpicking a good trailer. And itās not even nitpicking, itās just your own opinion.
The trailer was awesome. Itās a trailer for the story not the game play.
And I really liked the scenes. Before that, I played in flash games at http://friv2.racing/ online, but now Iām just in love with the game Kingdom Come Deliverance. Now this is the best for me!
On a side note, the blacklisting by journalists is now getting absolutely ridiculous. i have been always very sceptical about it and never took it seriously, since there used to be always an article here and there, but when I look at it now, itās painfuly obvious and hardly something that can be disputed.
Kotaku, Polygon, Gamespot, RPS and even IGN are absolutely silent about the game. IGN and Gamespot at least added the trailer in their shitty video libraries (where it is buried without any mention on the site), but the rest didnāt do even that. When you check the sites, you will find barely 2 articles about the game in the last 2 years on each site, and these are in most cases just copied dry press releases about the release delay and the beta announcement, not articles about the actual game.
Iām not such a blinded fanboy to expect them to write about every videoupdate or an article praising the game every month, but considering how those sites are full of articles about shitty and small indie games all the time, totaly ignoring kickstarter funded RPG of this scale with undeniably unique conecept 14 days before realease (and 2 years prior) is simply ridiculous, and it can be hardly attributed to different tastes of the journalists or blandness of the game or really to anything other than bad intentions.
They want to get some groschenās in their pockets for reviews and news about the game. Theyāre not gaming journalists, that are actually playing. Theyāre sellers. Industry changed a lot in past 10 years.
Its because WH marketing is not nearly as expensive as one if Ubisoft or EA which is nit fair. Ubisoft has made tons of shitty games in thw past few years, and EA is jut money grabbing which is unfair as WH made a game out of nothing basically and its probably the best rpg in the past 5 years
I disagree. This was a story trailer, and it doesnāt have to introduce the world to us --theyāve done that already.
This has nothing to do with marketing, journalists obviously know about the game. Unless you count bribing journalists as a marketing.
Marketing is usually done behind closed doors IK because my dad was a marketing expert, idk about gaming industry but IK that journalism marketing is usually done via bribes&favours, since journalists dont write to inform anymore lol, they do it for money. And since gamespot and ign do earn money, they dont really care about promoting a game from a random Czech studio that wont pay them
So, why is it blacklisted? What happened?
