Hey, I first saw development for this game last year and forgot about it. Recently noticed the Alpha has been released, so I pledged some money. Excited to join the community and just wanting to say hello. Any in-game or forum advice? Also, what’s up with airplane food?

Welcome to the wild and interesting place that is the KC:D forums! In-game advice: ignore the bugs, peruse the many different alpha threads to find out what does/doesn’t work, and in general just enjoy the beauty of the world.
Forum advice: lots of great info and stuff already exists but is sometimes hard to find. make sure to do a little searching first but if you don’t find anything please feel free to post. more than likely if it already exists someone will point you in the right direction. otherwise just have fun.
oh and the next few days are especially going to be exciting, there’s an update coming to the already existing alpha. the dev team has already delayed it by a couple days but fingers crossed we’ll have it on the 19th (later today!!) also the great power of the alpha access brings responsibility… please do what you can to file bugs if you find them, give feedback on current features, and suggest (politely please 
) alterations you’d like to see. i love being part of these early access & alpha phases because you get to really have a close connection with the team and your feedback is often vital to making the final game great. welcome rant is now finished, enjoy and welcome once again!!

For the in-game advice: Anything goes… as far as it doesn’t crash.
