Hi,
So I’ve completed the Main Quest and Hans Capon is waiting at the camp to ride off into the sunset.
The only problem is I’ve only just found out there were side quests that followed The Prey, the first being Next to Godliness.
Are these still available to me or have I lost them forever 
?
since you did not heed/read the warning before entering Veranik., yes there are some that are now can’t be done.
There are other side quests available. Look for the indicator Quest Giver on the map.
It irks me that the game didn’t find a way to say “Hey, Hans Capon is somewhere and maybe you want to go talk to him.”
I did read the warning before Veranik but it’s a pretty useless warning;
“Hey, if you do this quest then there are some quests that will disappear… but we’re not going to tell you which quests they are, or where you can find them, or give you any hints that they even exist.”
I know I’m being sour grapes but it’s just another little nuisance to add to the many little nuisances this game comes with.
And I am aware of other side quests, thanks.

It could be a reason to Replay?
It is all about choices you make. If you fail to do something, or you do something there are consequences. Much like real life.
Basically go into the alley between the weapon and armor shops and there is a door to the right near the end of the alley. There is only 1 hard level locked door and a guard who has the keys. I picked the lock, ran into the guard and told him I lost my way when he confronted me and knocked him out when he said piss off and turned around. Both the pitcher and wine are down there.
If you have no picks or if you are bad at it just wait till he comes out and pickpocket him or knock him out.
you did not take the key from the chest in the bath house where you put your clothes?
