No difficulty setting, are u joking?

Seriously fuck you. What an attitude you have. Im reaching out to you to help out and you come with this 600 page lecture???

Im done with this shit bye!

Not much of an arguement ‘stop being a bitch’… the self imposed restrictions I’ve gave myself are,

  • try my best not to level up strength which im finding hard since even using bows seems to level strength faster than it does agility
  • anything picked/stolen can only be used and not sold for money gain, making gold much harder to get for simple repairs/buying anything. When items are too much to repair i just drop them
  • Do 0 training with bernard
I dont know how i can restrict myself further to make the game harder… what do you want us to do use fists only

Yes, I’m using fists only, light training bow (29dmg) and if I feel I need extra punch occasionally bludgeon(31dmg)

It’s not supposed to be an argument so much as a statement of disdain for his attitude, plus I was specifically referring to the OP who was offered the option of self-imposed restrictions and threw the idea back in the responder’s face simply because he didn’t want to do it. My point is why whine when he’s going to ignore the obvious solutions?
Requesting demanding new features such as difficulty settings when the devs are struggling to keep up with the bugs they have isn’t particularly reasonable.

Re: Fists only, I mean you could if you wanted to. One idea I can think of off the top of my head would be to find equipment you feel is fair for you to have and never loot weapons or armour. Light Armour, Burgher sword and Villager’s bow perhaps? Depends how much you feel you should handicap yourself.

It may be worth checking out Ultimate Realism Overhaul. It seems like it just makes everything harder, but using the custom installer you can change values to make it easier than Vanilla. For example you can make the perfect block/riposte windows bigger, give enemies less base stamina and armour or give enemies less frequent ripostes/blocks. Highly recommend checking it out.

I forgot to add that i wasn’t spending any perk points on anything that adds any sort of damage/advantage in combat. But gear wise i dont have money so i cant repair my gear so anything i do pick up and use for a while gets dropped fairly quick. Im refraining from picking up gear i consider too good.

I like that there isn’t any difficult settings, It take some time to get use to how the game works, but after that you kind of get use to it. What I would like is more options to sleep in the woods and save your game this was, however all the weapons training is great and i see it as a part of the gameplay and the build up of your character.
