No Global Illumination since 1.6.2

Seems since 1.6.2 the Global Illumination is not working anymore.
All rooms are looking in the same bright colour, no matter if its a hut, a castle or the monastary.
Is there anybody with a similar Problem?

Damn.

Hopefully an accident - ie triple check ye didnt tab out and lose fullscreen mode… (returning to fullscreen drops settings from ultra to high)

I havent updated the game in awhile, so cannot compare or test.
I jest that the reason I stopped updating to latest version is that updates consistantly take away more than they have given (me).
I seem to be a lucky one who had a great game since release…
For four features added (and no doubt thousands of tweaks/improvements to terrain etc), I get consistbly lowered ‘Ultra’ settings.

I understand lowereimg settings for the masses to get their 100 frames per second or whatever crazy/unreasonable target. …
(@warhorse) Leave Ultra for future PCs and those who can…

Seriously- game used to render active zone much further away… npcs didnt just magically appear from set positions I can nearly see…
Level of Detail changes were not obvious.

There is way more that has been pulled out.
I dont mind if a console command can reimplement (eg fog), but stripping stuff that makes this game breathtaking and a true tech showcase just so some muppet who doesnt understnd tech argues that Borderlands in Ultra nets 150fps, tgis fame ahould too…
