I just kill and loot everyone when I scout the place out. They will respawn for the battle.
If you are good at unarmed you can knock him out in battle and take his stuff and then kill him.
I donât have 1.4 yet so I guess they changed that.
Well yes, sadly we donât really have any other information sources.
Maybe the lord took all the loot to fund his campaign because the coins were worthless? Thatâs realism lol.
Looting the battlefield could destroy your reputation with all the other soldiers. They deserve their share of the loot, after all :)

Itâs a (very) rare bandit NPC item but there are more than 2 instances (+1200 enemy kills). Arching bascinet is another story. Have seen ally NPC with it and said to be in chest NE of Neuhof
It´s normal that the bodys despawn. I went to Prib after the battle and I could loot all the weapons that the bandits and cumans dropped after dying. I made 4k - 5k Groschen and bought the best armor. After that the fights were too easy because I couldn´t die 
So I guess they made it in terms of balancing so you don´t get too overpowered to early. After Wranik there were no bodys and no weapons and I played this with a later version. I think they changed it with 1.3.
Your character is greatly in charge of progressing the battles. Your team isnât going to insta die if you let them fight by themselves, so what i generally do, is loot during the battles. I seek out all the heavily armored enemies first, take them out and immediately loot them, then move on.
Late to the party here but I think I need to share this. There is in fact a way to get (almost) all the loot. I made roughly 20k out of this mission. Two different ways actually considering you can beat the 3 battles & Runt while (greatly) over encumbered. This mission is extremely time sensitive in various aspect already, wandering around and looting will affect the survival of the troops so you must participate a bit to the battle otherwise troops will die and things get frustrating fast. When going about looting bodies keep in mind that time still goes on so to loot as much bodies as possible hit ââtake allââ and deal with it in your inventory where time is paused. but dropping too much stuff at once will crush you under a pile of gambeson so manage your drops accordingly by quickly exiting the menu and moving a bit. Do not drop anything inside the cuman camp as it will be remapped after the battle and your stuff mght disappear. Once you have all the piles of loot you wanted lying around you go beat Runt & wake up at Rattay. You must AT ONCE go back to Pribyslavitz otherwise everything will be gone. Like horse ride there instead of fast travel, so you avoid ambushes and the likes. This is where the over encumbered method is great since you get a free ride back (with your 2000lb+ loot pile) and Runt is easily killed with a bow anyway.
I am about to start ââfrom the ashesââ so I was having a hard letting all this bounty slip away as I will need quite a bit of groschens from what i gathered.

I just did my looting when I cleared out the camp during Nest of Vipers. Made it easier to poison the food and burn the arrows and got a schitload of loot. I got 25 burghers swords off of one guy. I then got about 3400 better hunting arrows off another. Hounskull helmet, Polish BP, a bunch of saxon stuff. I made about 18K off of doing that. I have 32K of Groschen right now.
Itâs way easy to make money in this game. I have scout and do a lot of fast travel and tyou get to âscoutâ an attack youâre coming up on. I have made more money doing that than I can tell you. Every now and then you get someone really armored well and you get 5-6 k on one guy alone. But, he is usually really hard to beat.
